Dr. Nathan Perlis
Surgeon, Urologic Oncology, Sprott Department of Surgery, University Health Network
Associate Professor, Division of Urology, University of Toronto

Dr. Perlis completed his medical school, residency and urological oncology fellowship at the University of Toronto. In his current position as an associate professor at UofT, applying modern imaging (MRI, PSMA, and microultrasound) to the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer are his primary clinical and research interests. Dr. Perlis was an early adopter of image guided biopsy and focal therapy for prostate cancer. Over the past ten years, he has used HIFU, Laser, PDT, and IRE for this purpose and continues to seek better ways to offer reliable, quality-of-life preserving treatments for prostate cancer.
